You've worn shoes that crushed your toes and shoes that swallowed your feet. You've returned pairs that matched your size but not your shape. You've called your own feet "difficult."

They're not difficult. They just have a width that nobody has ever measured.

Every shoe brand on earth accounts for your length. Not one accounts for your width. Making shoes in multiple widths costs more, takes more stock, and most brands won't do it. So they make one width and hope for the best. Your feet pay the price.

A shoe feels tailor-made when the width is right. Not before.

The 3-Width Fit System

Three wooden lasts — Wide, Medium, and Narrow
Wide Medium Narrow

Shown for EU 42. Width varies by size. The quiz calculates yours exactly.

Every Wool2fit shoe begins with a wooden last. A foot-shaped mold that gives the shoe its shape. Most brands make one per size. We make three: Narrow, Medium, and Wide.

Engineered from 1.2 million foot scans. Three distinct widths per size, each carved to match how feet actually vary.

Then each shoe is hand-felted around the last that matches your width. The wool takes the exact shape of the mold, and when the last is removed, the shoe holds that shape.

That's why the fit feels tailor-made from the first step. The shoe was literally built around your width.

Two to three pairs a day, per artisan. That's what it takes when every shoe is shaped by hand.

Thomas Glerup, Founder of Wool2fit

Thomas Glerup, Founder of Wool2fit. Co-founder of Glerups.

I co-founded Glerups in 2003.

I spent 20 years watching pinky toes break through the felt because the shoes only came in one width.

It's obvious why… One width can't fit every foot.

But when a business grows 25% a year there is no reason to fix it.

So I found a database of 1.2 million foot measurements.

I built a new last with a perfect fit, no heel spring and a spacious toe box.

I then made three variables per size: Narrow, Medium, and Wide.

I called it the 3-Width Fit System.

That's why Wool2fit exists.

What wool does for your feet.

Cozy at-home setting, slipping into SlipOns

Slip them on. That's it. That's the feeling.

Pure felted wool wraps your foot in warmth without weight. Just soft, even contact from heel to toe. The kind of fit that makes you forget you're wearing anything at all. The moment you get home and swap your shoes for these, that exhale, that relief, becomes the best part of your day.

Someone wearing SlipOns at home

Warm feet in winter. Cool feet in summer. Same pair.

Wool regulates temperature naturally. It insulates when your floors are cold and breathes when the weather turns warm. Your feet stay dry because wool wicks moisture faster than you produce it. One pair that works every day of the year.

Close-up of foot slipping into a SlipOn

No break-in. No stretching. No hoping.

When the width is right, the shoe fits from the moment you slip it on. Not after two weeks of "wearing them in." Not after the wool stretches to accommodate your foot. From step one. Because the shoe was built around a mold that already matches your width.

Bare feet in SlipOns

Wear them barefoot. Every day. They won't smell.

Wool contains lanolin, a natural antimicrobial. It repels dirt and odor on its own. Years of daily barefoot wear and they still won't stink. If they ever need freshening up, a damp cloth and air dry is enough. That's it. You own something that takes care of itself.

Wool texture close-up

Under €0.11 per day.

Hand-felted wool doesn't pill, doesn't unravel, doesn't flatten out after six months like synthetic slippers. A pair lasts years, not seasons. Even at two years of daily wear, that's under €0.11 per day for shoes that actually fit your feet. Less than a coffee, less than a parking meter, less than you spent on the last pair you threw away.

100

100-Day Free Return Guarantee

If the fit isn't right, send them back within 100 days. We cover the return shipping. We'll exchange them for a different size or width, or refund you in full. Try them on indoors the way you would in a shoe shop, then return in the original box with tags intact.

Most brands give you 14-30 days. We give you 100. And we pay the return.

2-Year Quality Warranty

If anything breaks, tears, or wears through because of a defect, we replace the pair. Write us with a photo and your order number, and a new pair ships out. Sometimes a photo is all we need. Sometimes we'll ask for the pair back. Either way, you get a working shoe.

Covered for 2 years from the day they arrive.

Here's what stays the same without the right width.

The guessing. The returns. The quiet disappointment every time you open a box and it's not quite right. Another pair that almost fits. Another round of searching.

Or you measure your feet once, in 60 seconds, and be done with it.

The hands that make your shoes.

Every Wool2fit shoe is made by hand in a workshop in Nepal. Each artisan trains for three months before touching a single pair.

They felt the wool. They shape it around the last. They check every seam and every edge. Two to three pairs a day, per person. That's it. There's no shortcut when you're building shoes by hand.

Thomas has known these artisans for 17 years. They've worked together across three companies.

These are designed to be worn barefoot. The wool is felted, not knitted, which means there are no loose fibers to irritate your skin. Even customers with wool sensitivity wear them directly on skin without issues.
All three models have a natural rubber sole. Nipping out to the garden, the school run, grabbing the post. They handle it. They're built for home first, but they won't fall apart outside.
Hand-felted wool is different from machine-made wool. The fibers are bonded permanently under heat and pressure. They hold their shape for years. They won't shrink, won't stretch out, won't flatten.
You probably won't need to. Wool contains lanolin, a natural antimicrobial that repels dirt and odor. Air them out occasionally. If they ever need a deeper clean, a damp cloth and air dry is enough. No machine washing.
Two to three years of regular daily wear, sometimes longer. The more you wear them, the faster they age. Same as any shoe. Hand-felted wool doesn't pill or unravel like knitted or machine-made alternatives.

The SlipOn is our most popular model. Low profile, everyday wear, lightest entry price. The Espadrille has a higher heel cap for a more secure fit, ideal if you prefer more grip around the heel. The Boot rises just above the ankle for extra warmth in colder months. All three use the same lasts, the same sole, and the same 3-Width Fit System. All three come in Narrow, Medium, and Wide.
